Jean-Michel SEVERINO

President and CEO, Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P) since 2011

Jean-Michel SEVERINO has dedicated himself to the emerging sector of impact investing as a means to support the development of small and medium enterprises in Sub-Saharan Africa. A choice that is part ofa career primarily focused on international development and its financing: Mr. Severino was Director of Development at the French Ministry of Cooperation, Vice-President for East Asia at the World Bank (1996 to 2000), and Chief Executive Officer of the French Development Agency (AFD) from 2001 to 2010.


Thierry PERREAU

President, ACEP International

Thierry PERREAU has been Director of ACEP Group and President of ACEP International for 3 years. After having devoted his early career to the promotion of small businesses in Africa within the Elf Group and then as a consultant, in 1994 he created ADéFi in Madagascar, which became ACEP Madagascar. He founded ACEP International with his partner Nicolas ROFE and facilitated the launch of the last two ACEP institutions in Burkina and Niger. For the last 2 years, he has been managing ACEP Conseil, a subsidiary of ACEP Groupe, which accompanies ACEP institutions in their development. He is an agricultural engineer by training and a graduate of the IAE of Paris.


Olivier TOUSSAINT

Senior Project Manager - BIO

Olivier TOUSSAINT is Senior Investment Officer at BIO (Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries), where he has several years of investment experience in the microfinance, SME banking and venture capital sectors, particularly in Africa and the Middle East. In this context, he was a non-executive director of Bank of Africa in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and an observer at the West African bank holding company Orabank. Previously, he was active as a consultant in mergers and acquisitions in Europe with the ING and KBC banking groups. Olivier holds a Master's degree in Management from the Solvay Business School (ULB) and the Chartered Financial Analyst accreditation.


Sebastien BOYE

Co-CEO at Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P)

Sebastien BOYE is in charge of investment of the IPAE1 and IPAE2 funds in the West African zone. Prior to joining I&P in 2002, Sebastien worked as a corporate credit analyst at BNP Paribas in France and the United States. He is a graduate of ESCP Europe and is one of the authors of the “Guide de la Microfinance", a reference book on the microfinance sector in developing countries.


Laurence MAY

Consultant, specializing in financial and compliance issues

Laurence MAY has developed a wide range of experience in the field of finance and compliance over the last 32 years. After eight years with Mazars, she joined the Financial Department of Crédit Lyonnais. In 2002, she became a Member of the Management Board of the Caisse d'Epargne Ouest, in charge of Finance and Risk. In 2007, she became Compliance Director of Groupe BPCE. Since 2017, she has been working in Brussels as an independent consultant specializing in financial and compliance issues. Laurence MAY is a graduate of HEC and holds a DESCF (Graduate degree in Accounting and Finance).


Jérémy HAJDENBERG

Co-CEO at Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P)

Jérémy Hajdenberg is co-CEO at Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P), the management company of several investment funds supporting Small and Medium Size Companies in Sub-Saharan Africa, generating social and environmental impact. Since 2002. In 2021, the teams of I&P and its partner funds include 120 professionals prepared to fund around 40 African start-up and SMEs per year, from seed stage to growth stage.
He graduated from HEC Paris Business School and holds a Master’s Degree in development economics from Paris School of Economics, is a co-author of the books Le guide de la Microfinance (2009) Entreprenante Afrique (2016), the latter one with J.M. Severino and has been a member of the Presidential Advisory Council for Africa .
